About me
Casey Pick (she/her) is the Senior Director of Law and Policy for The Trevor Project, the leading suicide prevention and mental health organization serving LGBTQ+ young people. She is responsible for ensuring The Trevor Project’s life-saving expertise is elevated in state capitols, courtrooms, Washington D.C., and the court of public opinion. She serves as one of Trevor’s key spokespeople, collaborates with state and local advocates, coordinates amicus briefs in litigation affecting LGBTQ+ youth mental health, and testifies in support of legislation to protect LGBTQ young people. As a skilled legal and legislative analyst, subject-matter expert, and advocate, Casey’s work has been featured in CNN, Associated Press, The New York Times, and more. Recently, Casey has been recognized as a leading voice on the emerging issue of youth online safety, serving in Spring 2025 as visiting Tech & Public Policy fellow for the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University. Casey holds a bachelor’s degree in Government from Claremont McKenna College and a juris doctorate from the UCLA School of Law. She currently resides in Alexandria, VA.
